2009 september - A Humorous Update from TOny & Barb Price

Hi there guys,

…It is very wet and my flowered wellies are going over very well. I could sell them if Wal-Mart hadn't cornered the market. Oh what am I thinking there is no Wal-Mart here :)
We got a trip over the ocean last night, 3 hours in the pouring rain in a canoe with 12 other people. Our landlord blessed us, it was wonderful.  I am on to my third pair of pants today, the other two are drying out. We fight over his Helly Hanson suit; I shall have to get my own when I find one with flowers on it :)…

Oh I think someone has been pulling your legs, our weather is glorious. It is all in the eye of the beholder.  :) Two people have said "Oh poor you" when I told them we had moved here from the southern interior. That is pretty sad really; actually it’s a beautiful day today… blue sky, blue ocean, eagles, seals and deer all over the place. It's like a trip through National Geographic without David Suzuki's commentary.  It is like emigrating but staying in the same country all very strange being in Canada yet not. People are friendly and they think different than in Winfield. We must be Northerners now… we drove to Terrace to get supplies from Wal-Mart yesterday, very hickish wouldn't you think? Oh also saw a mum and young moose running in the water at the other side of the Skeena on the way there.  Now how nice is that for a Manchurian Girl.

Only have a few minutes on this computer. Our own internet should be connected at home by tomorrow. We will be in touch.

Blessings on you,
Tony and Barb
